Description
Small birds and butterflies flit between trailing flowers and foliage in Suffolk Garden’s chinoiserie style print. Digitally printed onto 200 thread count cotton sateen, the reverse echoes the main design but in a tonal vintage pink colour palette. This wallpaper that inspired this design was found in the entrance hall of Crowe Hall in Sutton, Suffolk and features the Hoho bird which derives from the mythical East-Asian version of the phoenix. The hall was built in around 1605 for a member of the Bowes family but redesigned in a gothic style circa 1824-26 for George Reade by Richard Beales of Lawford Sussex. The Eagle House Damask cushion completes the bed, boasting a damask style floral trail printed across a velvet base. Single Duvet Includes 1 Single Pillowcase Double, King and Superking Size Duvet Includes Pair of Pillowcases
